As I began reading this book, I immediately noticed the flavor of a Christopher Isherwood story though it takes place in Prague during the 1960’s. The book is filled with discovery. Theater is the main occupation of the characters, most are enrolled in an experimental LSD group

The characters are well drawn. Some are homosexual although being the 1960’s, a person’s sexuality was very secretive. It is a fascinating quick read with humor and some painful moments wrapped up tightly in a novel that stays with you. I highly recommend checking out this fascinating book!
