A sensitively written tragic love story written in the form of a horror. Well Done.

Reading The New Horrors: Edgar Allan Poe by Pavel Cerny was, for me, a truly immersive and thought-provoking experience. What struck me the most is how the book doesn’t simply retell the life of Edgar Allan Poe, but instead reimagines it in a way that feels both deeply respectful and creatively bold. From my perspective, the storytelling feels very cinematic-almost like I was watching scenes unfold rather than just reading them.

The story is very well written and the characters are clearly drawn. I only wish it was longer. Well done!
