You can get a prescription sent to your local pharmacy before the visit ends or shortly after. Keep in mind that not all infections require antibiotics. Viruses and allergies are not cured with antibiotics. We will determine your need for antibiotics based on our assessment clinical judgement, and practice guidelines. Taking antibiotics when it’s not necessary can disrupt your gut microbiome. antibiotics may make you more susceptible to infections, including Clostridioides difficile (C. diff), a serious bacterial infection of the colon.
In addition, it can lead to antibiotic resistance. Taking antibiotics when not needed contributes to the development of antibiotic resistance, making these medications less effective against infections in the future.

The day of your appointment. Arrive at least 15 minutes early to give yourself time for the check-in process. Yes, you can get same-day medication refills, a new lab order and also a referral to see a specialist. This is at the discretion of your provider, who will assess each situation to determine necessity and safety in care. (Note. We do not prescribe ADHD stimulants, anti-anxiety benzodiazepines). No. You can have the visit in the comfort or privacy of your own home or anywhere that is safe and private, but not while driving a vehicle, while operating any machinery that requires your attention, or anywhere outside of Florida or NY.
A code will be texted or emailed to you with a link. You will click on the link, complete the pre-appointment screening, and upload your payment method into the secured app. You will then be led to begin your visit. It will take only a few minutes before your provider joins the video/ call
Yes, we have a HIPAA compliant website, EHR, patient portal and Virtual platform. The HIPAA law is in place to protect your privacy and personal health information. We can share your information with your PCP or any other providers or entities that is related to your care and in accordance with applicable state and federal laws.
